BAINBRIDGE ISLAND MUSICIAN RELEASES TWO CD COLLECTIONS
Jon Rose, Bainbridge Island resident and musician, announced the release of two CD collections of music.  The first collection "Friday Nights" is a collection of blues, swing, and funk that honors Rose's musical heroes from yesterday and today.  The second, "Songs for Sunday Morning" is a collection instrumental ballads and love songs that range from simple guitar ballads to multi-layered rhythm and blues.  All songs and arrangements are original.  "The CD's were designed as a set" said Rose, "the first helps get you swinging into the weekend, the second eases you gently back to life the morning after".  Rose can be seen playing piano and harmonica at various night clubs and in north Kitsap County and Bainbridge Island, Washington.  "I've been playing blues and swing all my life so it's fun to be able to share the music with a wider audience and in a new format."  The collections are available through select local outlets and either digitally or by mail order from the internet (iTunes, Amazon.com).   His third CD, "Satin Skies" is in production and is scheduled for release in the fall of this year.  More information about Rose's music can be obtained from:
