Musicians Wanted:The 5th Annual Fall Family Afternoon at IslandWood www.islandwood.org is on Saturday, Nov. 29th from 12pm - 4pm. This year, IslandWood is partnering with the Bainbridge Island Historical Society and Museum to create a historical celebration of family and exploration of cultural stewardship.  We are looking for traditional musicians and storytellers to perform throughout the day. Performances are scheduled for 45 minutes each. Performers will be compensated for their time. Musicians Wanted:    Seattle Center Winterfest in December is hosting an outdoor, sing-a-long nighttime Campfire over four different nights. We are looking for artists who have a repertoire of folk music, preferably with holiday songs, and a talent for getting audience members to sing a long. Each of the four nights will feature a different artist or artist group. The sing-a-long is two hours, from 5-7pm. The artist will be paid $325 for the two-hour session. First Sundays at the Commons presents the John Hansen Jazz Quartet
on Sunday, September 7 at 4:00 pm. John Hansen is regarded as one of the most in-demand jazz pianists in the Northwest. This musical community day in the sun is organized by The Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce.  Admission is free, but donations are accepted.  Proceeds will benefit Eli's Place.  Eli's Place is part of the YWCA-ALIVE program and is a haven for domestic violence victims and offers hope and a means to help break the cycle of violence.
