John Denver Tribute Concert

MCR in association with Chalice Music (Lucy Dickinson) is hosting a John Denver Tribute Concert on Sunday May 17th at "Adams Park" a private waterfront park next to Ray's Automotive on Bainbridge Island.  This is a benefit concert for music scholarships for local teens. Solo artists, small groups and ensembles of all kinds and all musical genres are encouraged to apply. All performers will be donating their time as part of the benefit. Contribute your performance to a one of a kind, five hour long concert-in-the-park featuring songs all written by or performed by John Denver (see link to all JD songs ever recorded!).  We will provide the sound system, so that we can change out quickly between acts.   An open mic will be also be available for musicians who did not sign up for a specific time slot. To apply for one of the spots contact info@johndenvertributeconcert.com with number of performers, name of group, number of songs you would like to do, etc...   The actual set length and performance times will depend on number of participating acts. We welcome your creative contribution! The last day to sign up for a spot in the program is April 17th. Thank you.
